Just thought I'd let y'all know I found a bunch of ammo boxes at Drop Zone military surplus. It's near the corner of Largo and Abercorn.

The 7.62 cans were only $3.50, which seems very reasonable. The 50 cal boxes are $7.00 and the next size up were $12.00.

Just picked up a few more cans, this time from the surplus store on White Bluff, just south of Derenne. They have pallets and pallets and pallets of both the small and the 50 cal boxes for $5 and $7.50 respectively. I got three small and one 50 cal for a flat $20.

A little steep, but if you're looking....

There is a guy at Keller's Flea market that has a lot of Milsurp. He had all sorts of ammo cans there last time that I was there, up to 4.2 mortar round transport tubes!!!
