Warning: At first, I thought this might be a muggle problem, but a recent cache theft leaves me wondering if the theft might be the work of someone who is familiar with the sport, and not a fan of it.

Yogi's retreat has been deactivated as of last night. The cache stolen. Unique to this cache was it's hidden method. I had taken my son out and we had used wood tools to hollow out a fallen log to fit an ammo can perfectly. Very nice cache hide. The can was clearly makerd as were the contents and a data sheet describing what geocaching was about. The who thing missing and the log destroyed.

This is the third cache i have checked on that has been stolen, and the cache hide area destroyed. I will reacivate this cache. as I did Fallen Comrades this past week. Please check your caches more frequently. Beware of hiding in places where muggles may be prone to observe the hunter.
