Now where was I?

In talking with the responsible people at the Statesboro-Bulloch Parks and Recreation department asking for permission to hide a cache, one of them thought an organized group cache hunt might be good for their day camps/summer camp.

I think it would be great! The woman I was talking to asked if she could pass along www.geocaching.com and my phone # to the people in charge of those programs. I said, "sure!"

Now what? I'll probably get a call sometime soon and I won't have a lot of info to give.

Have you guys been involved with something like this? Have any good ideas? Know any pitfalls to avoid?

Thanks in advance!

I was about to put a cache in the Mill Creek Park. I am working in the 'Boro now and look to place a few caches in the area on my lunch breaks.

Sweet. I have to be in the 'boro the middle of January, think you'll have them up by then?

And if you want that PDA, it's yours, just let me know. I'd rather let someone I know have it than sell it for not much.

I will have one of the downtown caches in place on Monday or Tuesday.

I haven't actually read the topics in the forum, but the forum at groundspeak might be of use as well:
GPS in Education

Kenneth: Thanks for the "GPS in Education" suggestion. I can't believe I missed it!

Ertman: I just hid one in Mill Creek--GCMFG1-- on Saturday.
