Technically, this is not an advance notice of a CACHE placement, per se, but it is related. I am putting together a group geocaching trip (Traveling Cachers) to Alabama this fall. Details are listed below.
For additional information, please call 770-716-4324 or visit our website (fall brochure coming soon).

TOP OF ALABAMA (Fall Foliage and Geocaching)
Sponsored by the Fayette County Parks & Recreation Department
You are invited to join this fall foliage trip to the highest point in Alabama, Cheaha State Park. Participants will have the opportunity to seek the Mount Cheaha Earthcache (GC25M9T by Martin from Franklin, GA) and other nearby geocaches. Anyone can attend if even if they are only going to see the fall colors. I would like for this trip to be the first of a series of Traveling Cachers group trips. This will be a great opportunity for first-time and experienced cachers to make new friends, share stories, and learn from each other. Advanced registration is required, and spaces are limited.

PARENTS: This trip will also be a great educational opportunity for Homeschoolers and any child interested in science and technology.

Day: Saturday
Day: November 6
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Fee: $12 per person ($18 if non-Fayette resident)
Age: 12 and older (or younger if with parent)
Location: Depart from the Kiwanis Center (transportation included)
980 Redwine Road, Fayetteville, GA 30215
