Well I have re-activated the Lacy Cursed Geocache. That isn't its name, but what it feels like. We have had more trouble getting the cache activated and kept alive than any of the other Lacy geocaches.

That was a good one. My daughter and I had a great time bonding as we hiked to that cache. Not everyone had as much fun that day, but at least the smilies were all well earned.

Yes, I suspect Slayerette would consider it a "cursed" geocache, and she probably did curse it for enticing her to go back the "route less traveled". The phat-bak wound up in someone's backyard.

HA HA!!! I didn't know that. Now I don't feel so bad...

Though I sure would have liked to have found someone's back yard come to think of it.

Seems the cache is still cursed. Found it today, and the tree&limbas around it had caught fire, melting/singing the contents. See my log. The logbook and ammo box are still there, so it's still doable. However, I doubt the container is totally waterproof as some of the rubber seal was destroyed.

P.S.: I wasn't tempted to take a shortcut back to the truck.

Makes me almost want to archive it, but I guess I'll pack in another ammo box, but it will be a couple or more weekends before I have a chance.

You mean you don't have a secret backdoor route to the cache?

What do you want me to do with the wooden nickels? I can keep them until some future event or just sprinkle them in some future caches.

No simple backdoor that I know of. I do know of a complicated door, which can be opened on certain times of year, provided I get a hold of the correct person.

As always trade goods once taken can be used as you please.
