An easy micro placed for tomorrow's meeting, and permanent thereafter. I've asked that it not be activated until this evening. Spare Change

With moments to go before they locked us in for the night, I thought Cymbaline was going to join the deer at any moment with his gymnastic prowess. One tiny bit more of him over the edge and there'd be a new animal in the exhibit! Unfortunately with 10 or so cachers around we couldn't find it! Frown

And a call to the cachers 800 number. I think it may be gone. Deer or Buffalo food?

After 8 finds in the same day, I gotta think that a cacher was in maximum stealth mode when y'all gave it a go.

I'll be back to the center for trail maintenance next week, I'll check it then.

Right now, I think y'all have been hoodwinked. Wink

I was right. Y'all were hoodwinked! The cache is intact and in place. More aggressively hidden now than when first placed. I like the new hidey spot (it's only about 10 inches from where it started) so I left it there and bumped up the difficulty a tad.

Hint: You cannot see this cache from any angle unless you're a squirrel.

ARGH! I even felt areas where a squirrel could see, but no dice. I was for sure it was "on the other side", as it were. No gymnast I, but knowing that YOU hid it I wouldn't have been surprised.

I *would* be saying that another run this weekend for Fresh Air BBQ would be in order (and *cough* this cache *cough* other caches I didn't make during the meeting *cough*), but NOT now.

Cheap gas at my local QuikTrip jumped from $1.75 this afternoon to $1.85 at midnight - and this is the closest QT to the Colonial tank farms off east/west. So no runs for me for now.

<very off topic, but yet related>

For those not familiar with these farms: There are two 15-20 foot diameter twin pipes running from Houston, TX directly to this farm near the East/West Connector and Powder Springs Road. If you buy gas in metro atlanta - heck, most of north and central georgia for that matter - it probably spent time at these farms, regardless of where you get your brew (minor exception: marathon oil).

The wife of a coworker of mine used to work for the futures trading company that manages the farm/that section of pipe. She got the heads-up from a fellow coworker (well, ex-coworker) that prices were gonna be jumping. She was right. $2.20 for cheap brew by september, anyone?
