Those who have been around for a few years will remember that we held our 2004 GGA Challenge Event at Elachee Nature Center. At the time we collected donations for Elachee to buy GPS recievers. Team Pez also collected funds at a TB launching event he hosted. Well, the first of the GPS units has been purchased and put to use.

I worked with Tammy, the lady in charge of youth education at Elachee, to put together a cache hunt using a GPS Pack

We worked with Tammy at the GPS Summer School earlier this year, and those who participated will recognize the trail and some of the waypoints from that event.

Hopefully geocachers, and "regular folks" visiting Elachee, will put the GPS Pack to enough use that additional Packs will be assembled.

Wow that is incredible. Great job on setting up a cache to go along with the progress from the challenge/donations. I love Elachee and its great to see those parks working with our hobby/addiction.
