There are places on this planet where there are lists of "no's", "don't", "absolutly no's", "violators will be persecuted" and on and on. The White Farm does not fall in these categories. Bring your dogs, children, mother in laws or whatever. My sisters, children, and I have tried to make the farm a place where we can bring friends and let them relax and enjoy themselves without all the citified rules and regulations. This is no longer a residence but guests can stay for the weekend. We have sleeping accomodations for about a dozen people and more if you bring sleeping bags. The farm is over three hundred acres so you can also camp. By all means bring the DAP.
Alan, I am going up this Sunday to attend services at the UU church in Canon and I plan to be at the farm in the afternoon. Cousin Bob is dragging up a big tree to the bonfire area and we need to cut it up, so hope y'all can come down.

I have made couple of updates to the North GA BBQ and Bonfire geocache page. The first is that I changed the name, it no longer is a "Mini Bonfire", George, his cousin and I gathered wood Saturday. While it isn't going to be a huge bonfire, it isn't going to be mini either.
I also include George's note about the farm on the geocache page.

I just tweaked the coordinates. I was there to verify that the night cache could be found at night. This is a beginner night geocache. If you are thinking about doing either The Lacy Snipe Hunt or Nocturnal Cache or if you just want to see how a night cache can be set up this would a good one to practice on. It is short walk, the firetacks are close together and easy to see.

I wish I could be there but alas it's the same weekend as the Chili Cookoff at Stone Mountain and the Cotton Pickin' Fair in Gay. I can usually only manage one event a day. Drat.
By my count 30 people (including the hosts) have said they are coming. There is plenty of room for more people (and dogs) and we hoping to have fun time with the food, geocache hunts (in the light and dark) and the bonfire.

I apologize for my absence. I am in the middle of my deck project and Saturday I had worked on it for 12 hours and was exhausted and beat up.
This project started as a little 12 x 8 deck landing and has turned into a 16 x 12 monster. Please except my apologies and know that DAP is very upset as well and is letting me know it.

I should have! This thing has taken 2 full weekends and so far 4 evenings (5:00-9:00pm). It probably won't be finished till this Sunday night. I don't know how those guys build them in 2 days.

Your email account is bouncing the Pocket Queries when my remailer, trys to remail them. Have you changed email addresses or are you so busy building a big deck that you have let the mailbox fill up?
