I moved a cache of mine to it's third location today. Thanks to Goss and others for giving me a heads-up about imminent danger to it. The pulp wood harvesters had already knocked a limb off the tree it was under, and three feet from the cache the ground was torn up by the caterpillar tracks. Yikes!
It is sad to see the deforestation of the Dawson Forest, but I guess the land managers know what they are doing. The cache is a further 1.4 mile drive down the road so feel free to hunt it again even if you found it earlier. It isn't quite a drive-by cache anymore. The walk from the car to it is fairly short though, if you look only at the horizontal distance. hehe. ~erik~
