I found a cool place near me. There is an old abandoned railroad fill in the Lake Russell Wildlife Management area. That is interesting in itself. But what is cool is that it is crossing a river, and they built a "tunnel" for the river to go under the fill. Check the pictures.
Now the man who told me about it also said there is less than 50 people in the world that have seen it. So I am going to make you do a little work to become one of the few. You will have to go to about 6 stages, which will expose you to some of the history of the area. These will all be reachable by vehicle and when you see the first one the others will be obvious. Then once you have the coordinates of the cache you will find there is a road all the way there but it is blocked to vehicles, which is the main reason so few know about it. So it will be time to find one of the parking spots and hike, it is a little over 2 miles. I had to get permission to place the first stages, again when see them you will understand why I had to get permission.
Due to my working schedule, it will take me some time to get those first stages ready. But when I do I will post the information here on the GGA forums for a week or two before I place it on geocaching.com.

Actually, I have been "traveling-man". Take a look at my found caches and you can see that. It is too bad I had to work so much on my Colorado trip a few weeks ago. I got there, worked, worked, worked, ate in the parking lot where I was working, worked, went to the hotel and slept for about four hours, got up and ran off to catch the plane back home. This weekend I am home at least. Next weekend... either MN or upstate NY. Probably MN. Not sure yet. The next weekend its Colorado, but for vacation. I officially will become a member of the CO GC Assn! Then back to Pikes Peak for my wife's first visit. I cannot wait.
And like I say, those caches are not in the mountains. I'll get em', don't worry.

Of course you can. As to why it took three years the other thread gives a more of a history of the various people I had to talk to for approval, which took so long the FS put their ban in place luckly they finally decided geocaches (within limits) were ok. Then I had to fix this one.
