Seems as if this is a touchy subject to say the least... I'm somewhat inclined to say that if the owner is more or less MIA then maybe it should be archived... but that would be a great loss for the GC community as Virts are no longer 'in our system' so to say... If the cache owner approved the find... (after all the finder was at GZ during the fair and at the right place...) then maybe all could be forgiven... It seems to me that there are several 'conditions' for approval that are NOT under the control of the owner... too bad the Scouts were a no-show... kinda have to feel for the finder for the effort involved... I don't know the whole story but would love to hear all the particulars someday...
More chiggars please! |

Don't get me wrong - I'm not trying to taint your find. Since you emailed back and forth, and the owner gave you the thumbs up - its a legit find. I agree that the owner should relax the requirements on the cache page. |

phat.bak, no offense taken!
All just part of the discussion, and your point was completely valid! Had I not taken the steps that I did (or anyone else take those or similar steps) then, IMHO, it should not be a legit find! |

Usually when it is obvious that requirements have not been met but the owner approves... the finder usually states they have owners permission to log... in order to keep the nasty feelings and angry emails to a minimum.
Just a handy little logging tip. ----------------------- Quality Over Quantity!!! ----------------------- |
