Thanks for the reminder to log a "will attend" on the cache page. I'd intended to participate all along, but never got around to doing that.

Who is bringing their kids? Valerie doesn't want to come if there are no other children but ours.

I'd consider it too if I knew my 13 yo son would have someone to mingle with.

Don't say you can't, say you'll try.

One of the hikes was put together with kids in mind. There will be a camp cache or two for kids of all ages, 6 to 70-up. Last weekend while scouting we seen kids 6 and up with adults all over the park.
Maybe more with chime in and bring the young cacher.

Cant till the weekend. Weather seems to be clear and cool(a welcome relief). I look forward to being able to put on a jacket!
I had planned on only paying 2.37 for gas (last week), and even though they jacked it up again, Ill still be there!

Happy Hunting! Smile

I am so freakin' excited! I am about to bust. I have Goss Boo Hoo'in cause she can't go. D-A-P knows something is up cause of all the gear stacking up, but she's just not sure how she fits in to the scheme of things. I'm sure when she sees the GPS, my orange hat and my boots, all heck will break loose with Lab-citement!
I don't get to bring the pop-up I was hoping to use, but I am willing to let go of my attachment to the finer things in life(Electricity & running Water).
See Ya there.

Just to let all those who didn't make it to the camp out....You Missed Out on a great time.

I think I can speak for everyone and say we all had a great time. The games, food, camaraderie, scenery and weather was A-1, Top Drawer. We even had a twiggs sighting.

This was my first time camping and I stumbled a bit, but I am hooked. I just don't think I can get the Condo...I mean tent like my neighbors had, but I'm totally ready to make the plunge into tent ownership.

All the cache hounds had a great time too. D-A-P is still recovering and from what I hear, So is Emma & Charlie.

The Cache hunting was a blast, and hanging around the camp fire waiting patiently for peach cobbler was SUUUUUUWWEEEEEEEEEEEET!

thank you Lacy's. For bringing us all together.

BTW...Do I get a found smiley for spotting a legend? Wink

I am so bummed!
When I unpacked my equipment from the weekend campout event, I realized that I lost the TN geocoin that AB4N so graciously gave to each of us.
Anybody find one on the ground around the campfire?

BooHoo ... Waaaaah!

Johnnie and I were the last to leave, and I put out the fire using the extra water I had brought. I sorry to say I didn't see any coin there.

Nice picture of the ball field Allen. I missed that earlier. It seems I always ended up in that area when the grass was brown (winter). Too bad I was out of town in NOLA that weekend. Frown

I am now UN-Bummed. I found the wayward TN geocoin today. I was cleaning out my cigar suitcase and it had fallen into the dark recesses within. It's mine now! excited
