Not much cache density on the SW side of Atlanta, so I just got around to placing one in an area I'd been scouting for a year or so. The Battle Of Utoy Creek GCNZBJ is waiting out there in thse old historic Civil War woods for it's first finder!
Also resurrected AsTheCrowFlies GCG5EF, last found June 15, 2003 by Trailerman. So all you terrified-to-come-inside-the-perimeter-johnnie-come-lately's can get yourselves another JB-OP smiley! Have at it!

Let me clarify. OP =outside the perimeter.
AsTheCrowFlies is OP
GCNZBJ (which backwards is JBZNCG as pointed out to me by JMTBuzz) BattleOfUtoyCreek is not OP. There is no designation for inside the perimeter. We just call that the ATL. Cool

And don't expect to see Mr.terrified-to-come-outta-the-mountains, Phat.Bak at either one! Tounge

Just got the notification as I was reading your last reply here.
No huge surprise here-

Dougs94 and Linda found The Battle Of Utoy Creek (Traditional Cache) at 5/21/2005

Log Date: 5/21/2005
Tried to find the parking coords yesterday when the thunderstorms sent us home early. Went back this morning and found the cache with no problems. Enjoyed the walk.
Took an airplane, left some bubbles.
Thanks!

I went and got me a ftf this morning in my neck of the woods. I bet they are on there up here, or maybe doing some of them new ones on the south side. Man new caches all over the place.

cheers

Way back in the day, I had a geocache called "Building Blocks" that was outside the old Atlantic Station area that is all the way in the middle of the ATL.(now near where that big yellow bridge is) And if memory serves me correctly...Johnnie was the FTF on that one. Hmmmm.
