Our first cache and hopefully a good one!

It is a four part multi-cache that incorporates ideas we have found in our short caching career. All four end at a ammo can with clues to the next stage.
So far, it has gotten good comments from the folks that have found it. We want to drive more adventurers to the area, if they are up to the challenge.

Here is the story we used as the basis of the caches. Kanati Article

Here is cache #1 on Geocaching GCP0V1

All 4 of this series has been on my watch list since it came out. They are now the closest to me, but I just haven't had the time to go after 'em, .... YET!

Am gonna give the 1-3 a try tomorrow with T3. IF we are successful, won't give the final a shot until spring.
(Too cold, wet and rainy to be in a small canoe on that lake - eh, Trez?)

It is a truly excellent cache series. I look forward to nominating it when the next round of "outstanding caches" comes up in these forums.

A couple of the stages are "drive-bys" and rather close to other caches, but others involve nice little hikes. The unifying theme is a great one, and finding the final stage really brings the story to a great conclusion. I'd canoe out there in winter for that. It's a relatively short journey and well worth it. Go for it!

Just gor home, and T3 and I were successful on the 3 Stone caches we attempted. (Also picked up a couple of closeby caches I hadn't done before too). It is a very good series and I will certainly give it a vote for 'Best Of...' It was just too rainy, wet and miserable to go for the final in my leaky old canoe. As it was, we had to make logs/trades holding a small umbrella to keep the contents dry. Got rained all all day - but still had a great time.
