I posted in the topic in the Groundspeak Forums. It looks like private property to me. http://maps.google.com/maps?q=33.332208+-83.868887

I think you are right, but I ain't gonna spend the time to look it up. (Maybe a locationless?) I think it related to the 'Geographical' center of Georgia and not the 'Population' center. I've been wrong before ... I think.. - - 4 legs good - 2 legs bad! - Animal Farm

The Population Center cache is a "locationless" Population Center - Bull's Eye In reference to the "Geographic Center" cache listed by Skyman: At least the owner of the cache site was nice enough to contact someone and ask for it's removal, instead of just removing it on their own. It was ErnieB who placed the cache in GA. Here is the cache listing.Geographic Center of Georgia...Sort Of It is Archived. I remember doing this cache and it was on church grounds. I never understood why a Hunting Lodge was that close to a Populated area. It had to be right on the property line. But You are right at least they asked to have it removed instead of just throwing it away. BTW I did the Population Center of Tennessee for the locationless and I couldn't get to the exact spot cause a House was sitting on it, but I got pretty close. ----------------------- Quality Over Quantity!!! -----------------------
