A third weekend has passed and the Return to Black Mountain puzzle has not been solved. Accordingly, a third hint has been added.

The real question is: Did johnnie at least find the other two yet?

Inquiring minds want to know.

AG is sitting at 396... Looks like Chatanooga sometime between 9 and 10 am Thursday.

A fourth hint has been added for the "Return to Black Mountain" cache. I expect that several will solve the puzzle this week. And don't forget, no one has found the "Black Mountain Bonus" cache yet either.

For anyone working on the Return to Black Mountain puzzle, a new clue has been added. It's in the main description section of the cache page. Hope it's helpful! Idea

I'm clueless on crypto puzzles, even the easy ones. Give me a good trig/calculus puzzle any day.

Crying Oh oh, I'm breaking out with poison ivy in a few places. So, if you're going to do the bonus, be careful! I'm afraid I was into the hunt and didn't pay too much attention where I was going Eek

I like the problem solution type too. My problem with the encrypted puzzles is that they usually require discovering a certain key or method, and if the right idea does not pop into your head early in the process, or if you mis-interpret a clue, you can spend a LOT of time, which leads to frustration. So I spend a reasonable amount of time on them, and if no solution is found, I move on.

This week will mark two months that "Return to Black Mountain" has been sitting alone in the mountains near Woody Gap Help so one additional hint has been added. To those folks that have been working on the puzzle, I apologize if this hint is too much of a give away. On the other hand, solving the puzzle is just the first step in finding the cache Tounge. Good luck all!
