Am now back from my two month tour of the world, where I added Japan and Argentina to my list of cache countries. Also placed a TB Hotel cache in Kathmandu, so if you're ever there please drop by.

To "celebrate" I decided to place the Eclipse cache, another puzzle cache involving some astronomical knowledge. The jist of the puzzle is to determine the longitude of a location by observing a lunar eclipse from there and at the same time observing it from a known position. This technique was invented by the Chinese in the early 1400s, so 600 years later a geocacher ought to be able to do as well.

I dunno, those old Chinese guys were smart, and they did not have television and network programming to cloud their thinking.
