A new cache for you, just in time for the upcoming Watch Greater Atlanta Cachers Stuff Their Faces 3.

Pirates of the Caribbean Lost Treasure is pending approval.

There should be time to do the cache after the event if you like, but I'd recommend before it as you'd rather work up an appetite than be hunting for a cache after stuffing your face and belly. Aw Nuts!

Arrrr. Glad to have this'un on me logs prior to the meetin' on Saturday. While sailing back to home port this pirate began to think that this would be an ideal nighttime cache, as long as ye read the maps proper when ye stand at the last set of coordinates.

I anyone be brave enough to try this hunt after the meetin', I be willin' to tag along.

Thanks, Ken, for setting this one up. It's amazing how many cool spots of urban wilderness a person can find if they just start poking around. The paint job on the cache box was a nice touch.

Looking forward to seeing everyone who shows up at the face stuffing event.

Regards,

- Mark (S-4-C)

My cache had a flurry of activity when placed, but has been cold for a few weeks.
Just saw where Sunday is Talk Like A Pirate Day.

May be a good day to hunt this one if the weather stays good. All stages but the final are drivebys.
The final area could be muddy as it is near a creek.

Well Team Kimchi took to heart the Talk Like A Pirate Day and took on the mud near my cache.
You can read about it here.

I put the cache just above the floodline, but Ivan sent the creek above the normal floodline.
They said mud got on the outside of the cache.
I wanted to wait awhile before posting the pictures I took of the cache before I placed it.

Here is one:

I had a stage go missing and had this cache down for a while, but it is back online now.

So if you are coming to the GGA brunch and have not done it, you'll be nearby the start.

"Pirates of the Caribbean Lost Treasure" was one of the mine and my son's (Seto The Sage) favorite caches back in March. Glad to see that it is available again
