Well, this isn't exactly an advance notice but I wanted to spread the word about our new cache. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=...b1-9591-ccd4669990df

This cache highlights a couple more interesting places along GA's northern boundary.
The cache is easy to find. The real challenge is finding the "rocks". Wink Smile

Very interesting. How far is the rock from the cache? I wonder when the alarm goes off for the bears?

I couldn't find the rock, brownie2 might know.
The early surveyors missed the 35th parallel so they may have missed the distance too.
Black bears will come out as soon as the weather begins to warm up. Pretty sure that I heard one Sat. but it wasn't a problem.

In that area you may need to worry more about the Feral Hogs than the bears. When we were on Chestnut Mountain a few weeks ago some of the locals were chasing a big Boar with dogs.
