GeoWoodstock VII will be back home in Tennessee on Saturday May 23, 2009! I am already making my plans to attend.

Pretty cool when I heard that at GW6. I've already volunteered to help again. Seven in a row!

I've got a sneaky feeling that there will be more than one of me attending yet again.

I may have to find a way to be able to attend this one... We'll have to see what I can come up with between now and then...

Can't wait.

I'm making plans too. I'm not too concerned with accomodations just yet since I plan on visiting the 'Barbershop Harmony' headquarters in nearby Nashville.

With a little over 4 months to go to GW VII, it is time to bump this topic. I was looking at lodging around Bell Buckle and am trying to decide on the biggest bang for the buck. Are those from the GGA that are planning to attend going to be staying in Shelbyville, Tullahoma, or Manchester?

I need to figure out my lodging arrangements. I definitely want to go this year. Chances are, it won't be back in this area again next year.

We booked our room several months ago. We'll be staying in Tullahoma.

Same here and staying in Tullahoma as well.

The coiners and Taggers are staying in Murfreesboro at the Holiday Inn or Ramada. Rumor has it there will be a Midnight Coin Madness Event either Friday or Saturday night.

I'd really like to go to this but would love to carpool with someone instead of driving myself. Anyone have room for an extra passenger if I help pay for gas?

Registration closes @ midnite Friday May 1st for GWVII! Hope to see a lot of GGA members there.

Now here's a crazy thought - has anyone proposed a mini GGA gathering at Geowoodstock? I've never been but would be glad to try & come up with a place & time if anyone else is interested!

This year is a little tough. Last year everyone was pretty much in Sacramento. People are going to be spread out from Chattanooga to Nashville since it is in such a small town this year. For example, we are going to be in Murfreesboro Friday night. We already have dinner plans Friday and Saturday is all GW.

Well, at least it wasn't a brand-new idea - this'll be my first geowoodstock. I'll be on the lookout for y'all anyway....

There will be several area events too that we (GGA affiliates) can gather. (see: GW7 Forums) if you can manage a VERY LONG day trip or stay over.

We'll look for you/others and "mini-gather" as we can.
