A night cache on Halloween?

We had to temporarily disable "October Fright" due to receiving confirmation that the cache is MIA. Why anyone would want that cursed ammo can is beyond us. We'll try to get it up and running as soon as possible.

Much as we hated to, we made the lonely trek up to the cache site. A new cache has materialized very close to the old one's desecrated resting place. Oddly enough, it aged before our eyes and now looks quite at home. The same thing may happen to cachers that linger too long. It takes us a couple of days to recover even though we try to get in and get out as quickly as possible ... and always before dark.
