If your refering to the GA-AL-TN corner, that would be the Camak Stone I believe.

Unfortunately the tri-corner of GA/NC/TN is on private property; in fact it is in someone’s backyard.

Can you expound on that? Isn't there another way in, as implied by hte logs? Just wondering.....

There are 5 "interesting" locations on the northern GA state line. Four of which have geocaches. These are the tri-corner of GA/NC/SC, 30 mile post and Montgromery's Corner where the the state line between GA and NC takes a "jag" and the tri-corner of GA/AL/TN.

I was talking about the 5th intesting spot which is the tri-corner where GA/TN/NC come together, this is private property and of course there is no geocache near it, much less any logs. I was saying that it would have been nice if it was on some public property that allowed geocaches so that all five spots could have geocaches. But it isn't.

I was confused with the word “corner”. The location is the interception of TN and NC meeting on the GA line. The location looks like it would be a short walk from the road though. You would need a snorkel to find where FL and AL meet on the GA line.

Long before geocaching, I ran across a book about tri-corners, which it defined as points where three states come together. So that is the term I used. It was then that I decided I wanted to go to Elicott Rock.

Interesting stuff. Jack has been to all 50 states highest and lowest points? Impressive. I guess you wont need a snorkel after all to find the Fl AL GA tri-point. After reading the TN NC GC tri-point it appears that drawing the North line for the state of Georgia has been a difficult task. Thanks for the interesting reading.
