Here’s information for seeking permission in the in the larger Gwinnett County regional or conservation parks. This is not for neighborhood sports parks.

Georgia State Parks

A while back, Georgia State Parks banned Geocaching but now allows it. However, this is at the discretion of the local park manager.

When seeking permission to place a Geocache in one of these parks, approach the management with respect and courtesy. Be prepared that permission may not be given. Accept their decision. You may contact one of the below mentioned contacts to express your desire for the State Parks to allow Geocaching.
