I just learned how to create a new waymarking category and it's quite interesting. First you have to start a "group" and invite members to join your group and have open enrollment to your group. Then you promote 2 people in your group to "officers". After that, you create your category - mine is for Truss type bridges. Once created, the category is sent to the officers for review and voting and if the officers approve the category, it is then sent for peer review.
