Honestly, I would recommend City Navigator. I had the topo maps loaded on my Vista and I never liked it. I usually printed out the topo map and carried it with me. Rivers were the big offender for me. They looked like roads, so it was hard to tell them apart on the monochrome screen. I am sure it would be easier with a color screen, but I hated them on my Vista. When zoomed out to see enough of what was around you, the topo lines pretty much ran together.
I now use the topo version at home on the computer to look at tracklogs when I am done. It is kind of cool to switch between Navigator and Topo. |
