My husband and I have decided as a signature item we want to have smashed pennies. We found a good deal on a machine that would allow us to make them, we thought it would be a good idea to offer to make theses for other people. We are wanting to know if there would be any intrest in this. We have a basic website up at www.geopenny.com. If you are intrested you can find our contact information at the website.

I'd be interested in a custom geocaching or GGA smashed penny signature item. What would the cost be? Those smashing machines usually charge ~$.51. -JB

I checked into this awhile back for the same reason. Would like to see a price list. Will you be handling the custom die creation, or would we have to get them made on our own?

We are getting ready to place an order for two more dies, why we only ordered one instead of more when we bought the machine I don't know. If anyone is intrested please let us know. It takes 2-3 weeks to get a die back from the time they get the picture of the image to the time they mail it to you.

We were given permission today to use the GGA logo on our pressed coins. From the time we give the die maker the image to the time we get it back should be about 2-3 weeks. We are hoping that we will have some ready for the event on April 17th, if they are not ready by then we will have them for the May GGA meeting.

We have been told that the machine we ordered to make the pressed pennies should be here no later than May 15th. We hope it will be in sooner, so we could have some for the May meeting, but if not we will have some(Free) to pass out at the June or July meeting.

We have updated our site and have a new url www.smashingpennies.com. We have both the GGA logo and the Geocaching logo on our site, we are also working on several Geocaching related coins. We bought an engraver to help out with engraving our own dies, so we can aslo add something to the back of the coins after we make them.
