Many of you will remember the 2006 Georgia geocoin shaped like a peach. Georgia Flag on one side. The name of Georgia’s first Geocache - Beaver Cache on the other side with a little hiker guy. If you do a google search you will easily find a picture of the coin. These coins were produced by Team PEZ, GA Cacher, Thorny1, Team Happyspider and TRAM. The GGA did not produce this coin. The coin sold out in about two minures.I think it was the first Georgia coin. I also think they sold for around $8.00.

When these Geocoins were offered for sale I purchased two. One for me and one to leave in a memorable cache. The problem is that most memorable caches I found after purchasing the coin have been with Mertat and Geomuse. Since they always leave a coin or something extra nice in these special geocaches I refrained from leaving the coin because I just knew the next finder would clean out the good things. So I am offering it up for sale. I would like to get my money back so I will not sell it for less then $8. So $8.00 (eight dollars) or best offer by March 11, 2011, 5 PM EST and its yours. I can deliver it to you at the March GGA meeting, or meet you in the Decatur area, or if you want to pay for postage I can mail it to you. No one but me will know what your offer is.
