Yep, I'm pleased as punch. And, learned something nice about geocachers.

When he stalled in June I check the page of the cache he was in and it had been archived! I emailed the cache owner and he came back within a day to tell me that the area had been sealed off for fear of fire (it was in NM).

Practically the day after the restriction was lifted, he was on his way again. Way cool!

I wonder where he'll wind up next?

Hey, that's pretty cool! Maybe he will make it to Hawaii too.
I picked up one that originated in Ireland - that was pretty special.

I just launched my first few travelers in the last couple of weeks, have a few more waiting to go.

Re: Travel Bug Lost???

Someone has logged one of my caches twice with a plaintive request that his bug be returned to him. I checked this evening and there is no bug in my cache. If anyone can help this guy please do. Here's his latest log:

Stockley_true has added a log to your cache (Field Sobriety Test). You can visit the cache at the following link:

Greetings from Utah. 'Tis true...this is a second request for a Utah gamepiece Cachunut #7 to be returned to Utah so we can continue playing the game. If you would be so kind as to mail it to us I will reimburse you for the cost of mailing, plus I'll send you a rare and enchanting signature mini-red Devil Duckie, perhaps a signature Peak-A-Boo: (Name your peak) O' Brother, Where Art Thou? CD and other surprises. Send the nut to:

I released 4 Trail Dog travel bugs last October. I sent 1 to Niagra Falls, 1 to the Grand Canyon, 1 up the Appalachian Trail, & Barbary just made it to her destination of Mt. Rushmore.

That is very cool Penny!

I actually got to get a TBug to its final goal this weekend. As many bugs as I have moved I have always hoped I could help get one to its final goal.

Through the Woods and Over the River TBug

...moved to its final goal of...

Smokin' Cache

My travel bug Jabber Jack, has a goal to make a complete cicuit around the world by Dec 31 2003 and hpoefully make it bak to the AHABE by that date. On its information, both page and bug I stated that if you could only move the bug from ATL if you were taking it to Europe well so far the little parrot has made its way across the country to LAX and is now heading back this way and is now in Louisana, again.
However on an interesting note the parrot has actually visited Korea but the cachers didnt have enough time to find a cache and drop him off.

Happy Hunting! Smile
