Ok, so this is the first I have noticed this cache... Anyone willing to join me to do the East side? I live not too far from the West end, and would love to work with someone from the East side.
I have Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays off, for those who might have odd schedules like mine. |

Bueller? Bueller?
Surely there's someone out here who is interested in this cache who doesn't already have it... |

I am an East Sider who has not yet done the Convergence Caches.
Shoot me an e-mail to coordinate. LostNfound |

The statement "You cannot complete this cache without coordinating with another cacher to do the partner cache" on the cache page was really more to persuade people to get a partner and not a challenge to do it alone.
Either way, recently Erik took the challenge and was the third cacher to find this cache by themselves. Yes, it is possible to do alone and seems like it gives a good excuse to venture out to grab other caches near the routes. Kenneth P.s. If I hadn't said so before, thanks to all who voted for this cache pair for 2004 Outstanding Multi-Stage Cache. |

It's a great cache Kenneth and it deserved the win
We did this cache with Mushtang & Gift. It was fun! We recently asked Dougs94 and Linda if they wanted to swap sometime and grab the west so Cymbaline & I can log the east. Since they're two sepearate caches, might as well log em both. Not sure when we'll get around to it, but the seed has been planted and it's on the "to do" list. |

To be sure the record stays straight, the concept for this cache was 100% Ken Pruett's. I was just a lackey and sidekick. I, too, think it is a fun and challenging way to cache.
And, yes, it is two caches...you can get both East and West smilies as AtlantaGal plans. Congrats to Erik, JeepToysRUs and TinSparrow for solo achievements. And I think TRAM is almost there... |

Recovering Geocacher![]() |
This was a lot of fun to do. Very creative idea, and very well executed. I did it over several weekends, keeping a stack of little notes in my glove box with the clues. Don't know how I kept east from west and the stages in the right order in the midst of doing other caches, but somehow I did. The stages were all pretty straight forward finds except the second to last one on the west side. That one was a bit of a toughie. The next to the last one on the east side was particularly well done.
Hats off to the dynamic duo who constructed this odyssey. ~erik~ |

Yes this was a great cache. I had just started caching when I tried this one solo. I did have a sidekick but she was only riding with me and helping at each stage. As some know I got into this sport from the YJTBs. On a Jeeptoy forum someone posted the YJTB from geocaching and I was hooked. I collect Jeep toys 1/64 scale and smaller and as far as I can see I am in the top ten in the world with 1/64 scale and smaller Diff variation Jeep Wranglers. This cache had 2 jeeps in it so the motivation was overwelming. I so love to find the YJTBS. Sometimes I may keep them an extra month just to gander upon them. I voted for this cache as it was one of my favs and still is. This was alot of driving for one todo in a day but with my work appraising I do it normally so I was used to it. I think stage 4 was the hardest on the east side for me. Besides the final which was a nightmare due to going in from the wrong side and lack of geo knowledge. I must say I bushwacked across the wetlands in waist high brush and down a creek with snake prints in the sand. As my sidekick said your nuts from the nearby trail. I now know that noone would do that to me so I can safely say I wont do that again LOL.

If anyone is interested in teaming up for convergence, let me know. I will take the east side if someone wants to do westside.

I can assist you virtually if you like as I've done the West side previously and have a record of what's needed. |

I will get with you on that. Thanks, snake.

You can always do like I did and run them both took about 4 hours driving back and forth the final took about 45 mins of it as I went in from the wrong way. The good part is once you find one on a side you can find 2 on the other and your driving gets closer each time.

Be aware that one east side stage moved. The coding structure remains the same, but not the values decoded. So unless you documented the entire coding structure off each westside stage, you might not have the info needed to help others. Kenneth |

No problems. I have the entire coding structure just in case of times like these. Thanks for the heads up though. |

I live on the East side and have a little free time next week.... Anyone up for helping out with the West? I've already found the first East stage.

Just a note that the East side had been offline for a while and I finally got off my rear and replaced the missing stage, so it is back online again.
I also verified that all the East stages are availble. Convergence Kenneth |

I Never Find Anything |
For anyone keeping an eye on this forum with the intent of hunting for one of the "Convergence" caches, I am here to report that both "Convergence East" and "Convergence West" are up and running. Some of the stages (including both starting stages) have been moved.
The coding structure has not changed, so if anyone has a "cheat sheet," it is probably still valid. Enjoy! And let Trailerman know of any problems. |

I'm willing to do it, since I haven't looked at this one yet for want of an east side partner.
