This is the closest my find count will ever get to theirs. They cache way more than I do. A pesky motor cycle event trip got in the way this past week. That's the only reason I got as close as I did. Am sure they're out racking in the smilies already this morning Smile

Thanks for the kind words re. me attaining 1200 finds.

If you get the chance, read the article in today's "USA Today" about birdwatching. Apparently bird watching has milestones and rules on what counts as a "find". (Finding birds in a zoo doesn't count, for example.) The subject of the article is an old guy who attained 7000 logged bird sightings.

I only mention this because the real story was that he became so obsessed in hitting that 7000 find level that his health suffered and his family life fell apart. Frown

So let's keep it in perspective. It's only a game. Smile

Whoops, gotta go. I'm in Chattanooga and there are micros everywhere. They're everywhere, they're everywhere..... hehehe....

Slayerette crossed the 600th mark. Way to knock those puzzle caches out. Efectivo Caliente.

Congrats Owl and Hannah for 900, 1KAY is only a couple of days away.

I mentioned our power cachers in the MD forums recently. They wondered if we had areas like Nashville and Jacksonville. I told them no, but tather that our cachers are just rabid cachers who are out finding the regular cross section of caches that are out there. I'm glad we have not become like Nashville or Jacksonville myself.

Congrats to all. Big Grin

Ya, what he said! Congratulations to all, and we too are very grateful that GA is not 'cache-dense' like Nashville. Quality vs quantity! We're approaching 500, but we would wager we have hiked (and driven!) more miles to log those than some TN cachers who have logged over 2000! Wink Smile
There's caches and counts out there for everyone; that's the main thing! Thumbs Up

All who wander are not lost; we have our GPS!
