Since Starhopping is no longer an "advance notice" I am continuing the thread over here. I have been waiting for Trailerman and Smoothjazz continuing logs. Especially stage three, because while all the stages are fun and interesting, stage three is extremely fun and interesting. Almost as much fun as the last stage!
Are you two holding off till you finish before doing the online logs?

Sorry, but I have been out of town. Check the Cache Page. It was...er, chilling. And a lot of other things I will discuss in private so I don't give hints to the great uniniated

OK, I just registered. This note is to see what I look like on the board. I haven't done Starhopper 2 yet because I don't live anywhere near Canada. How do you copy?
Boy, I have been anticipating reading the Starhopping logs as each stage was completed. The last few logs have been Short & Sweet. Maybe the cachers are too tired to write more in-depth tales or maybe they're just saving up for the last log. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Well I guess the phrase "North of the Border" does have some truth to it. Don't worry smoothjazz. It's not a long drive. And it is very rewarding.
I also not that trailerman is on the verge of joining those of us who have tasted the sweet bread of Starhopping's final stage.
Good luck Trailerman!

Apparently not. He did offer me $20 for the final coordinates. I told him for $5 I would give him the wrong ones. The ones that the original clues gave. That way he could be sure Sparc77 had fixed them.

Gee... that sounds tempting. Unfortunately I did something to my right knee on the cache hunt and am now unable to walk. Since nothing is obviously broken I'm hoping that the ice I put on it and a good nights rest will have me mobile again tomorrow.

I recommend scotch. Lots of it. And my hearty congratulations and heartfelt sympathies to you!

Congratulations to a new geocacher, The Prospector who found all six stages of this cache and went on to find Moolah - all in two days! A great accomplishment considering that these were his first finds.
He's probably not even limping.

They haven't logged it online yet. They thought they would be sixth, but saw "The Prospector" entries already in the log book. You'll have to wait for the online logs to see who it is.

It doesn't hurt when the young whippersnapper lives fairly close to the stages too.
For me it was a long drive to and from the cache locations. I didn't mind, but it did take a lot of time away from geocaching. The fact that it got dark early didn't help either.
When I was your age I'd walk ten miles in the snow to get to a cache - uphill each way, and that was all before breakfast.
