I think one of the koala bears that must live in those woods found phat.bak's cache but ran off with it rather than log it. Tounge

~erik~

Edited to add - I think I saw a panda in those woods too. I'll bet one of them ate the cache.

Heck, No ... nobody can compete with the MASTER. He taught me everything I know - but he didn't teach me everything HE knows...

LOL isn't that the truth?

My geo-gang and I have about 16 hours into his newest torture - er, cache, and still came up empty.

I hate DNFs... or "CNFs" (Could not find)!

This sounds remarkably like gloating to me!

Funny story about that topic. When izzy~bel (Courtney Isabel), my daughter was about 3, we were playing candyland - yes I am digressing - she was gloating because she was in the lead. For those non-candyland players out there, if you land on a gumdrop, you are stuck there until you draw a 'double' color. Then you may continue moving. Well, after she gloated appropriately, she landed on a gumdrop and was stuck there and I eventually won the game, though I didn't even have to try - and was really trying not to.

As she was crying hysterically, in some moment of parental (whatever), I came up with the following quote:

"Gloat not, lest you land on the gumdrop."

phat.bak, this is not a commentary on your cache or the evil qualities of such, just a funny story I thought of when I read this thread.

Cache, responsibly.....

I would love nothing more than for SOMEBODY to find this cache. This is not gloating ... it is a desperate plea for somebody to shut my mouth!

... even a blind squirrel occasionally finds an acorn...

My only hint is that if you've looked for the cache three times then maybe the fourth will be the charm, like it was for me.

Well, being one of the most recent DNFs... I must admit this one was interesting, to say the least. Not many places to hang anything as bamboo doesn't have them branches. As far as comparing to a lamppost, I will confess there were some "skirt" looking bottoms on many of the shoots. The area looks like there was a HUGE party in them there woods, though. Not a leave unturned nor a shoot unlifted - I THINK - obviously we missed one since Erik came thru on a retry later in the day. Oh, well...... Help
