Please read the e-mail below and help if you can:

Hi, I have a Girl Scout troop of 4th & 5th graders in Winder, GA, and we are beginning to work on a badge for geocaching. One of our requirements is to have a geocaching member come talk to us about geocaching, their experience with it, their favorite cache in our area, all-time favorite cache, their most difficult cache to find, etc.

Is this a possibility? Please contact me.

Thanks,

Pat Robinson
Troop 11807

I'd be able to talk to your Troop, but I haven't cached in Winder, so I have no local caches to describe to the girls. I'm Scoutmaster of Troop 434 and Doctor Mole is Scoutmaster of Troop 268, so perhaps we could double up if he has cached in the area.

Heh, I was just out there weekend before last with my boy scout troop - and of course managed to find a few caches. I'm willing - so which one of us should contact them?

We meet on Mondays at 6:30, however this coming Monday we'll be meeting at 6:00 - 7:00 at Bethabra Baptist Church on Highway 211. We'd like to do a cache on the 24th, so if it's possible for someone to come next Monday that would be great!

Please call me to discuss the possibilities.

Cell: 678-914-5900 or email me: tennvol91@gmail.com

Thanks!

Mondays are going to be rough for both JMTBuzz and for me - our troops meet on Mondays and we're both Scoutmasters.
I can be available on Saturday the 24th - think we can maybe work something out for then?
My cell is 404-401-9488 - feel free to call.

October 24 is a family weekend for me. The next weekend day that I will be available is 11/01/09. The following Saturday and Sunday are also possible. Scott could do this on his own on the 24th.

I met with the troop yesterday & showed them the ropes. The girls were very excited about finding their first cache & didn't want to stop! I think it was six girls total all earned thier geocaching badge (yes, the local council has one!) and they had six finds total. Cool!
