Has anyone found any good deals on a large pack of AA batteries? Thanks in advance.

I don't know if there are Rite Aid stores around Agugusta, but they have their house brand of alkaline AA 8-packs at 3 for $10.00. Or go to http://www.cairo.com and search for AA BATTERIES within your zip code. Or you could make the investment and go with rechargeable NiMH's.

Well, Root; I see a Rite Aid in Wrens, GA but that looks to be about 35 miles from Evans. Good luck with your search.

I mostly use rechargeables, but I picked up a couple of 4-pack Ingles brand today on sale for $1 per pack.
Maybe there is one near you.

Edit: They are alkalines, not heavy duty.

Picked up a pack of 24 a month or so ago at Advance Auto for $4.99. They were a house brand but have lasted well and had new ones to work well even after having been through the washing machine.
