I just got my legend back (well, I got it thursday-last week). I have to say I am extremely happy with the service I received from Garmin.
New Years Day I realized that one of the buttons had fallen off and made it nearly unuseable.
I spoke to a rep on Wednesday; overnighted the unit to them on Thursday; received it back The following Thursday. Not only did they replace the button, but they replaced the lanyard, updated all the software and the lens too (I had scratched it last summer). AT NO CHARGE! The warranty has been expired since last August.
This is my second Garmin GPS and will by another Garmin gps when the time comes. GO GARMIN!
