I received a Bass Pro Shops ad today that has the Garmin GPS76 Map for $249.88 with a $50 mfr. rebate, thats $199.88 net. Only 8 Mb of memory, but the antenna on the 76 is one of the best and the big hi-res screen is great. For those folks who like to drop things in the water ... it floats. I think it comes with the serial data cord. I have used a GPS 76 for three years now and really like it. But do I NEED a backup? BTW, the ad says the sale is Dec 9-24. | ||
