Ok so we were charged up about batteries after the meeting today and we felt energized as we set out to find some dura(ble)cells on the web!

Cymbaline had told us about the website he bought his batteries at so we checked it out and they have some really great deals!

http://thomas-distributing.com/specials.php3

We have not decided what to buy yet.....too many choices! Where is that Fact sheet.....????

I'm working on getting just that so we can have it on reference here. Stay tuned.

Thomas Distributing is a great spot (the only spot?) to get Maha supplies. The Maha-manufactured batteries go by the "Powerex" brand name, and the chargers are Maha-supplied.

(PoSAM, hope you got the reply I sent ya; it was late when I checked email.)

I have the MH-204W charger (AG has another), but it looks like all of the MH-204 line are all smart chargers and operate basically the same, with the difference being variable levels of features. The batteries come in different capacities, from 800 to 2700. I have the 2500's, but if was starting from scratch would get the 2700's.

So in other words: I use and strongly recommend the Maha chargers and batteries.

A big thanks to CharlieP and Joebids and especially to Cymbaline for pointing us to NiMH batteries.

We ordered the MH-204W charger with 4 2700's Combo Kit with all the free extras! We also picked up 4 extra 2700's. The price was really reasonable

Can't wait to get them and put them to use.

Also here is a discount code for 5% off: CVDIS83789 We used is I do not think it was one time use, so hopefull you can use it too.

Thank you! It worked like a charm. The 5% discount, as well. Wink

If anyone would like to try Rechargeable Batteries check these out. I have several sets and have used them for about a year and they are still going strong. Ultralast 2600 mAh 4 for $5.99. I have been told this is the same battery as the UniRoss battery. Microcenter has a couple of stores local to the Atlanta Area.
