Are you tired of breaking the fragile hinges on standard and thin CD jewel cases? I use the thin ones to carry audio CDs in the car, and it seems that every week another one has a broken hinge.

I want to buy some of the TRIMpak cases shown here

Are you interested in splitting a package of 200 with me? They are less than 22 cents each (plus your share of the shipping.) Good for personal use and as stocking stuffers. Let me know how many you would like, and if we get sufficient interest, I'll place an order. (Before ordering I'll find the best total price for product plus shipping.)

Thanks.

-Brad

I can use twenty. If we have a choice of colors I'll pass on the pink ones.

and right now everyone wants the clear ones. Does anyone really, really want them in colors? If so, we can get 10-packs that have assorted colors at about 75 cents each - a bit steep, in my estimation. But by ordering at once, we can save on shipping.

I want to send an order sometime Wednesday, so let me know.

Staples currently has 5 mm Slim Jewel Cases their brand on sale 100 for $9.94 (10 cents each). Me, I just use a cheap CD wallet to keep my CD's.

Actually I did look at the link in your post. But from the picture I wasn't sure what was different between a "Jewel case" and "TRIMpak". So after posting I did do some web searching and found a bigger picture and see the difference. I still like my CD wallets. I have stacks of empty jewel cases.

But I think you misused "Markwelled" from Groundspeak thread

Markwell: (märk w l), verb
To cite a thread (or threads) where a topic was already discussed thus putting an end to the need to discuss it again.
Also: Markwelled, Markwelling, Markweller
Example: "I started a thread about Geocaching nude but it got Markwelled!"

The way I read it is you have to refer to another thread, not a post in the same thread. Since I do refer to another thread, consider yourself Markwelled. big grin

I ended up over-subscribed for 200, so I ordered 400 instead. With shipping, it looks like the cost will be $0.2616 each, subject to final billing. Other GGA members are welcome to the leftovers at the same cost, so let me know if you are interested.

I may try selling some smaller lots on E-Bay to see what the demand looks like. Seems there are more than a few people looking for alternatives to the hard plastic jewel cases.

I really go through a lot of these. I burn CDs of actor's demo tapes that are used by their managers to get roles. I run through maybe 50 or so CDs a month on that.

Right now I'm planning to bring these to the breakfast event:

DaRebel - 100 $26.16
TJBowers - 20 $5.23

I have another 100 or so that are not allocated, so if anyone else wants some @ $0.2616 each, let me know.
