I was in Sears today and noticed that they had a pack of 40 Maxell Alkaline AA's for $10.

What dept. were they in Allen?

Electronics in fact at North Point they were at the Electronics check out station.

Thanks Allen. I was in a quandary on what to do for a Mother's Day present. Now I know.

So I went to the Sears at Gwinnett Place today. I went to the Electronics Dept. and they sent me to the hardware/tool department saying that's where the batteries were. They had 24 Eveready batteries there for $10, but not the 40 Maxells. They said they thought Sporting Goods had some too. I went there and they said they thought they'd seen some at the Electronics Dept. Back to Electronics and another clerk found them, but they were labelled $19.99. He did a price check which came up as $9.97 when he scanned the package and so I bought two packs. I felt like I worked for them. There were two or three packs left there if anyone else is interested.
