I just did it for like 10 minutes straight. I went and looked at my inbox, and there the email was about this. I normally disregard PalmOne emails.

like i said, i do own the 650 and if you win one, you will love it!

So for those that entered, approx how many times do you think you entered?

I think I was close to 2000 entries that were throughout the day/night. Hope I win a 650

My guess is probably 10-15 for me. I had to go to class right after I saw this and then forgot to do it again later .

AG: Don't you know the law of averages. You entered about 2000 times and won't win anything. Some smuck who can't even spell Treo will enter one time and win a Treo 650. It is a cruel reality. But I hope you beat the odds.

Well when I read the rules, it said that time of entry is the key to winning. So I wanted to be sure I had a few entries every 5 minutes. There were a few hour slots where I wasn't able to enter. So I guess we'll see.

I participated in a similar contest run by Logitech 2 years ago. But that one was every minute and you knew instantly if you had won. I won in the first hour on that. Then I entered for my boyfriend at the time and won for him. So I played my mother and won for her.

Guess we'll see.

I will say that you're theory is correct when it came to a BP gas card sweep I posted here last year. I entered practically every day. I didn't win. Erik entered just once and won a $25 GC. Another non-caching friend entered 3 times and she won $100 GC.

Hmmm ... I didn't even get a coupon. Never got one for the BP gas, either. I must be doing something wrong, like unchecking the box allowing me to be placed on their mailing list.

I carefully unchecked the box for the mailing list and I got a coupon.

Another winner in the sweeps bunch surfaced. She said the email allows you to choose either a 600 or a 650. That's 2 out of about 50 thus far that won.
