Sears at Mount Berry Square Mall in Rome, GA has their Fellowes WriteRIGHT PDA screen protectors on CLEARANCE for 2.96 per pack of 12!!! I bought 3 packs for my MAP 330 screen. Just put on, smooth and trim and viola! cheap scratch protection.
...but I'd spend all my savings driving there. I probably have enough already anyway. I stumbled on a cheaper source than the normal price for the Fellowes brand when I bought protectors for my GPSrs. Still that's a great price! They would make a great cache item. Also if you picked up extra (ie cleaned the store out. ) you could probably sell them at the Feb meeting. (I'd buy some for my Palm m130.)

You could do some cache hunting on the way, and some more on the back.......... That way could kill two birds with one stone..... and be saving both ways

Strong Engineering sells screen protectors sized to GPS screens. They're $6.95 for a dozen. I bought two dozen in the Garmin 5, Garmin 12 type size. These can be trimmed by an eight of an inch to fit eTrex. I've been leaving them in geocaches. It's one of the few trade items you can fit in a micro cache.
I got some from Strong Engineering too. Great company to deal with. Brad Strong just got a GPS for Christmas. Since he's been selling the screen protectors to Geocachers he wanted to give it a try!
