Yahoo! has lowered the annual cost for setting up a domain through them.
So if you are interested in getting your own domain (1 pop account and lots of forwarding addresses), they have dropped the price from $35/year to $14.70/year (for one or two years and then back to normal price). If you want to know more, go to Yahoo! Domains or ask me. Kenneth P.s. I don't get commission or rebates for them, I just use them and like them and am passing along the value. |

I found AceNet hosting for my site and pay $5 a month plus $15 a year domain for a ton of space (2GB) and bandwidth (60GB) plus unlimited email and subdomians and all types of extra webite crap that I dont know (SQL, php, CGI).
Looked at Yahoo but found it a bit much. Wouldnt of thought that now though. Happy Hunting! -Amazingracer It's about who controls the information Marty! |

I originally had allenlacy.com hosted by yahoo. This was when they paid me because I had one banner ad on my pages. That is how I got my first GPS. But when the online advertising bubble burst, and they required me to pay them, I moved it.

Costs extra on Yahoo for SQL, php, and email addies?
Glad I went with acehost, get all that stuff and space for sirt cheap and they have lots of options and settings in the control panel plus tons of free stuff like site templates and codes. Turns out my guestbook runs off SQL along with my message board which also runs PHP. Learn new stuff abt my site everyday.
