Awaiting this! I do like bcaching.com, as well, although I'd like the map to update my location in real time.

Okay, the Geocaching app on my Droid works great! The only problem I have is when I do a multi-cache, I can't program in the coords manually for stages2...

Any advice?

When you are in the Nav to cache mode there is a flag icon on the screen. If you touch that it will bring up a screen to add waypoint

It's a matter of degrees

Thanks Trez! I never knew this. Of course I just started using my DROID for geocaching. My gps is sitting at home, warmly in a drawer. I still can't get rid of it, thinking I just might need it again someday.

I've had my droid x since right before Christmas. I think I've only used my delorme twice since then.
I love it. What's the consensus on the official gc app?. I use cgeo, and really don't know what else could be done any better. Is it worth the extra 10 bucks??

ABSOLUTELY! Instead of having to convert the caches and download to your gps, you can just "open" the app anytime. It will show you the closest caches; you can go to them and read the info just like normal; you can log them to geocaching.com from your phone.

For multi-caches, you can create new waypoints (for stage2 & beyond).

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! I never take my gps anywhere anymore.

I think I might have sent a confusing question out after re-reading my post. What I meant to say was "is the official gc app worth the 10 bucks over using the free cgeo app". From what I can tell they both do the same thing. Are there some features that the official app has that are better than cgeo? Or is it faster?

I paid my $10 to support the Android app. I think it is poorly implemented, but it does work.

My GPSr is Trans-Portable and has a Ford Ranger mounted to it.
