| Yea it does. If you delete a palm application it takes all of its data, preferences files with it. Good for getting rid of an application. Normally if I temporarily get rid of an application, I just use the original install to put it back. But I also use T'Catalog to see what I have on my palm this includes the hidden “type” field which is how the palm knows what files go together. ----- |

| Thanks Allen, that was exactly what I wanted to know. I installed the T-Cat app and soon found an orphan file left over from a deleted app, so I got most of that 38 kb back  It looks like Palm OS uses the Type and Creator fields to link data files to each app. I like the way T-Cat allows you to delete specific files, this should be very useful.
