My boss's husband (a non-geocacher) has a Magellan Meridian Gold he uses to hike with and wants to upload Topo maps to it. (I am a Garmin user)
Opinions, please, as to what CD/software/brand he needs. |

The ONLY choices are from Magellan. MapSend Topo 3D USA You can preview in online HERE. 3-D is PC only NOT on GPS. (Just so you know.)
No longer produced but still available at some retailers and on ebay is MapSend Topo in the US Preview it online HERE before it disappears. Hope this helps. |

Just to clarify... the 3-D viewing can only be SEEN on the PC, the software works on the GPS also. Hope I didn't confuse ya. |
