I feel that pain....happens with my sunglasses. My advice is just to look for a used palm on e-bay....I'm not certain that blackberry uses palm, but my treo does....but even then, the memory capability could be a hindrance, as I have not been successful at loading caches to the cachemate program on my treo.
Cache, responsibly.....

Don't toss it! I recently took apart my Palm m130 to replace the battery (which I got for $5 on eBay), and found that the screen is just attached with a micro slide plug. Might be able to get a compatible screen on eBay (or from another junked pda) and replace it cheaper than a new one. Oy!?

I found a new replacement screen for $80, but since mine already has a an on-off button that's on life support and a battery that's getting weak it might be better to just replace it. I like Trez's suggestion, but since I have a Fry's Electronics near work I may just run over at lunch time and see what they have....
I don't think I can get away with that after not even having broken in my 60CSx yet.
I did go out last night and bought a new Tungsten E2. It worked ok for the first hot sync, but every subsequent attempt just produces a "Fatal Error" message and a prompt to push the reset button. It even happens if the PDA isn't connected to the PC. I guess I'll have to deal with the Palm support folks for awhile before I return it to the store.
I wish my Palm Z31 would break! Have been waiting for an excuse to buy a PPC-based PDA and try Cachemate on the PPC. Good luck dealing with those folks at Palm support. Better you than me (again).

Well, I got the sucker going, and learned all about the three kinds of "resets" you can do with these. The lowest level is by pushing the little button on the back, the other two by pushing the button while simultaneously pushing other buttons.
