I saw appears because if you go to http://www.topozone.com/ it talks about subscriptions however if you are on geocache page it does give a map, but if you click on any of the links it goes to a page asking for a subscription.

I do have pc based topo map software, but it was so nice to be able to click on a link on the geocache page, expand the map, move it around and see the lay of the land without being at home and firing up the software.

For the last couple of months, when you click on their maps, you got an ad pop-up.

Only if you didn't have a pop-up killer. So I didn't see them.
