I KNOW this must have been addressed before I came along but... I need to get a usb cable to download but the Garmin one (Flat connector) only comes as a 9 pin or bare wires.
Is there an aftermarket cable avail locally that works????

I use the regular Garmin serial cord and then got a USB-Serial bridge at best Buy for $30.

Yeah, AR has the best bet. I do the same thing with my rino. I got one similiar to this one at MicroCenter for roughly the same price as AR.

I picked up a new generic Serial to USB connector on Ebay for $8 (+ $8 shipping). Works great on my Mac AND PeeCee. Garmin supplied cable plugs right in to it.
