Recently a .wav file I was playing on my 'GEEO Cache Radio' cache page has stopped and the reference to it has been stripped within the long description section and gets stripped with each attempt to add it. I've noticed that the .wav has stopped also on the '-' cache and someone's profile page with the .wav references missing in the source.
However the 'Glorious Warrior' plays on. I was playing my .wav file up until I temporarlarly disabed it. I've tried several methods and locations within the description and including the one GW uses, but it continues to get stripped.
Thoughts anyone?

The ability to add scripting of this sort was removed some time back. I cannot remember when. The issue is possible virus introduction through various methods. One casualty was music on geocaching.com pages. If you try to add it back in, it is removed automatically.
I personally don't like music on cache pages since I look at them at work sometimes. At home, I sit with my laptop and listen to Sirius Radio online sometimes, so they clash.

I know some audio files, not necessarily Music files, repeat and get annoying, that's why I had made mine a once only unless you refresh the browser. But some caches rely upon the audio to solve the puzzle. And yet some others are still working.
I've created a viable solution / work around. I just wished it hadn't hit me by surprise. I opted to get GC.com updates, I just never receive any.

It was a surprise change. It was talked about several times in the forums as folks found out and posted topics. Sometimes they just make a change and don't tell you.

I was looking at this 'Giggles cache' that was referenced on another thread here currently. It's interesting that you can upload a .zip file as an image to GC.

You left out a few words. You should have said:

When gc was young and naïve, people could upload anything via the "image upload". But as it grew more experienced and paranoid, that was changed so that it only took images and converted any non-jpg to jpg and adjusted it's size. But old non-images weren't removed.
