So Magellan is finally catching up (in 2004) to the old Garmin StreetPilot III?

List price ~ $2399.99
Amazon price ~ 1199.99

I have my GPSr, map software, an Atlas and a fairly good sense of direction.

I don't have an extra $1200 just doing nothing!

However, Magi did a pretty good job on the interactive flash Ad!

This looks very much like a redesign of the "Hertz Neverlost" nav system, which is a Magellan product. Those things have been in Hertz rental cars for years, nothing terribly revolutionary about them.
